Summary:
This review is for the Bob Latino Dynaco ST-70 amp kit. This is a brand new kit of the legendary Dynaco ST-70 with all new parts and lots of upgrades. I wanted to try a tube amp but the cost of a decent one is unbelievable. I saw Bob`s ad on Audiogon and gave him a call. The kit was at my door in 3 days. It`s easy and fun to assemble and the sound is fantastic! At 100hrs. burnin it was unreal. He suggested I try Some Russian PIO caps and guess what? Even better. I changed out the stock tubes with Electro Harmonics and the driver tubes with GE triple mica and the detail, TEXTURE and punch is nothing like any SS amp I`ve ever heard.
