Summary:
First out of the box the sound is unbearably bright.
The new Cardas cabling used are a good part of the
brightness problem. (Subsituting to the 1000+
hours of used Nordost Silver flatline interconnects and speaker cables significantly reduced the brightness probelms but still the sound is not up to the standard
expected of this amp).
Only after about 50 hours did it become bearable
to listen to. I had to burn-in the Cardas cables
at the same time as the amp.
Even now at 100+ hours the amp is still "settling down" to it's real sonic characteristics.

Preliminary findings:

Dynamics: Excellent, a tad better than the Krell.
Treble: Good but still not quite as open and airy as the Krell which has over 1000 hours of use.
Midrange: Good with a warmer sound than the Krell.
Bass: Excellent on par with the Krell. Better delineation
of the bass notes.

No conclusions at this point. Will wait for another
100 hours of use before seriously comparing it with
the Krell 250a and the other Classe models. Meanwhile
I am rating it 5s for value.

Strengths:
Monoblock with tremendous power. This amp has been
misclassified as a Chiro. It is a Classe mono amp.

Weaknesses:
Very long burn-in time. Highly sensitive to interconnects
and speaker cables. Current cabling are all Cardas Cross
interconnect and bi-wired Golden Cross to the B&W HTM1.

Similar Products Used:
Krell 250a in bi-amp mode to drive the B&W HTM 1
centre channel. Classe 301/401 Stereo.

Moscode 402Au OLT stereo power amplifier Review

George is adamant about the fact that the Moscode 402Au is not just a tube gain stage slapped onto a solid-state power amplifier; rather, it is a tube amplifier with a MOSFET output stage.

A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
