These amplifiers are the best to date, that I have ever owned. Having all the sweetness in sound with full range benefits using the 300B tubes. They operate in pure class A single ended mode with cathode auto bias, yielding 15 watts of pure joy. The dual triode tubes offer the extra punch that single driver tubes do not deliver, the 5r4 tube rectifier is a sturdy and robust design with the added sweetness to the sound, that doesn't muddy the low bass detail. To steal a phrase, these amplifiers have this jump factor the Cary amplifiers are famous for. They have all the smoothness throughout, taunt, tight bass, and sound to die for. They sound great on all types of music put through them, my main speakers are Altec 604 type which are merciless on amplifiers, showing all there strengths with no weaknesses. Please addition if you can or buy out right, you will not be disappointed. Strengths:
Incredible transparency and resolution of detail, excellent bass for tube amps, using horn speakers or dynamic driver types, these amplifiers deliver the goods. These amplifiers are auto bias, come factory installed with tung-sol tubes, which are fantastic sounding, matching high-end 300b (EH)tubes aswell. I would recommend these to any serious audio types who like music in all its glory. Weaknesses:
