Bottom Line: The best choice for the money. I m really happy .. Sound is very transparent and detail, great timing and punch, The highest possible recommendation.

Bottom Line: Simply one of the best integrated amps I have heard since the middle 80's. I have owned several competitors to the 540A and have can't remember one that had the "tube like" liquidity of this little gem. Sixty watts per channel will provide plenty of power for a small or medium sized room no matter what speakers you use. If soundstage, detail, and air are on your list of amplifier qualities, look no further. The recent economic downturn has made me think very hard about how I spend money. Never again will I be influenced by excess if I can help it. This product is a perfect example of "high end " sound at a reasonable price. Love it.
