The Bedini 801 is the best amplifier I have had in my system. 70 wpc of pure class A power. Silky smooth sound of tubes with the drive and slam of a solid state design. High damping factor keeps woofers under control. Excellent with all types of music. Wonderful soundstaging and depth. Vocals are sweet and extended.
Bass is solid and fast, midrange is very natural, highs are never edgy and non fatiguing. One word of warning. This Amplifier gets HOT! Look inside and see all those output stages and you'll know why. This unit is over 15 years old and has never had a problem. Drives my Audio Physic Sparks with ease. Just an overall wonderful sound and a steal on the used market. If you see one, grab it as fast as you can. Strengths:

A side note, this thing looks cool with the backlit Bedini Logo on the front
Excellent build quality Weaknesses:
Captive power cord
Not really a weakness, more of a consideration to perspective buyers.
This amplifier runs HOT and needs plenty of room around it. So is the price you pay for Class A sound
