I used one with Mission 753 floorstanders which were really sensitive at 91dB and two problems occured. Firstly, from experience most amps sound best when warm but the super 20 stays freezing cold on sensitive speakers and secondly, on speakers with high sensitivity you may hear a slight hiss (especially on old music) In short, Sarasota Onsite Truck Repair Weakness:

I don't have more of them! This product is pretty much bulletproof. Very simple, user friendly and reliable. I've had mine for over a year and never had a problem. Definitely recommend it for an easy distributed audio system. Lots of power, not to mention the sound is GREAT. Customer Service Never had to use them |

Well made, very well thought out feature set.
Weakness:
A bit too polite. If you like bass, you will not like these amps. Very nice approach to distrbuted audio. Sound is very laidback. At first they (purchased two) sounded so thin I checked my speaker connections to see if they were out of phase. The more I listened the more I realized the amps were doing a good job of controlling the speakers but were very laid back. I finally unplugged one of the amps and plugged it into a set of painfully transparant SD Acoustics SD3R speakers normally driven by a Music Reference tube amp. Yep, the amps are good but the sound is laid back to thin. Similar Products Used: too many to bother listing |
