I have to easily agree with the first reviewer of this excellent Audio Research DS225. I'm running and powering 4 JBL 250Ti speakers in a 4 ohm load with this Amp, and the bass is deep, punchy, and clean. The mids and high end are remarkable. It's a pleasure to listen for long periods of time both Rock, and Jazz. I often think when I'm listening "Wow, the band sounds real!" If you can get one of these, you're not only making a great purchase, but you're upgrading your system for little to moderate expense. Get rid of that tired Amp of yours and move up to this Amp!! Do whatever it takes to get one of these Amps! It is by far one of the most superb amps I've ever had and used. Just try to get it away from me!! No way!! I love its sound and no discernable distortion at any level. Try that with your Amp! It's actually newer than 2010 being discontinued in around 2014.

This amplifier can drive any speaker out there easy, i try this amplifier with wilson Audio Puppy 8,Duette, B&W 802N , Totem acoustic - Mani 2 , Apogee Stage..
The amplifier is natural with very tight bass big soundstage and clean high the midrange area lovely!!
its not hard its not soft its natural its not to heavy amplifier but with high power, excellent sound quality and high efficiency.
