I purchased this amp from a fellow enthusiast and could not be more pleased with its sound and available power. Design of this amp allows each channel to be serviced independently without taking the entire sound field down and it provides more power than most people can actually use in their home, regardless what speakers they may be driving. The input side allows for XLR commercial type inputs as well as rca if so desired. I have had connected up for over a year with absolutely no complaints what so ever. This amp is on part with previous KRELL's and Conrad Johnsons that I have owned in the past.

Buy this amplifier only if you want aggravation. You will need a dedicated 20 Amp supply. That most likely means you will need electrical modifications in your home. They do not make this clear when you are purchasing. The amp is also extremely heavy and moving it is not recommended unless you are a power lifter. It sounds no better than any other good quality amplifier you can purchase for much less. It heats up quickly, and then the noisy fan cuts in making it quite annoying on quiet passages. Mine came with an annoying hum in the speakers that try as I might, I could not get rid of. Then here's the kicker, I turned it on one day and it sent a loud popping noise to my speakers and then Poof!!! It started to smoke. I have owned amps now for almost thirty years and this has never happened before. What happened to the protection circuitry? I have tried contacting Adcom. No luck, they are impossible to reach anymore!!! I have returned the amplifier to the retailer and he's had it now going on three months. He said he's still waiting on parts from Adcom. Buyer beware!!!
