Summary: Buy this amplifier only if you want aggravation. You will need a dedicated 20 Amp supply. That most likely means you will need electrical modifications in your home. They do not make this clear when you are purchasing. The amp is also extremely heavy and moving it is not recommended unless you are a power lifter. It sounds no better than any other good quality amplifier you can purchase for much less. It heats up quickly, and then the noisy fan cuts in making it quite annoying on quiet passages. Mine came with an annoying hum in the speakers that try as I might, I could not get rid of. Then here's the kicker, I turned it on one day and it sent a loud popping noise to my speakers and then Poof!!! It started to smoke. I have owned amps now for almost thirty years and this has never happened before. What happened to the protection circuitry? I have tried contacting Adcom. No luck, they are impossible to reach anymore!!! I have returned the amplifier to the retailer and he's had it now going on three months. He said he's still waiting on parts from Adcom. Buyer beware!!!

Lowther’s DX-65 driver in the Teresonic Magus XR Review
A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.
Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review
The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
