Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $9500.00 from esotic hi fi

Summary:
I have used Accuphase C270/P800 over ten years. Recently, I have upgraded my speaker from Dynaudio Compound to Thiel CS6. It continuous its tonal balance, elegant, dynamic, precision and rich in harmory. It delived the true charatic of ccCS6 of what the reviewers describing about this speaker. The sound not only musicial & accurate as its trademark signature, it is clear, transparent, fast with powerful and dynamic, the soundstage is wide and deep outside the back wall. excellent extension in both extreme. It is a true hi end amplier with emotion and worth its expensive value. Associated Equipments M/L DAC360S Wadia TRansport Thiel CS6 XLOSignature 5.1 Audioquest Python bal Tara Decade Siltech SPX20

Strengths:
everything well done for an amplier should do

Weaknesses:
high price

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $4500.00 from second hand

Summary:
The accuphase is a non agressive, beautiful sounding amplifier with a lot of power. Sometimes the sound can be to sweet. I use B&W 802 series lll and Diapason adamantes lll as speakers. These speakers sound both very good with the accuphase. Speakers wich i have used with the accuphase are: Martin Logan SL 3 % Request (not so good as the B&W/Diapason,s), several older kef models (Good)and the Thiel 3.6 (not good, to much bass). The accuphase P 800 is overall an topclass amplifier. This is the first amplifier that i have for almost 7 years. I think i will keep it for a long time.

Strengths:
Total control on every speaker i know.

Weaknesses:
sometimes a little to sweet.

Similar Products Used:
quad 405 / nad 2200 / adcom / several old marantz products / musical fidelity P 270.

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $10000.00 from dai cheung hong

Summary:
It is a great great amp, with more than 400 wpc (8ohm), it can drive every pair of speaker in the market. The sound is sweet in mid and treble, the bass is sleek, seductive, the atmosphere is natural to the reality. It has different refinement to campare with Krell, Levinsion and Pass Lab. A unique characteristic in Hi Fi world. Very musical, dynamic, creation of huge soundstage and especially in reproduction of whole orchestra work. It worths the ultra high price. I will keep it forever.

Strengths:
elegance, and style, full of power, every thing is supberb

Weaknesses:
no handle to carry the 48Kg body

Similar Products Used:
Classe audioIt
