Bottom Line: For the price, features and sound quality this Receiver is certainly can be considered one of the best in its class. I am an audiophile that use Martin Logan (surround system in 3 different rooms, 1 independent system per room, around the house), Bryston, Lexicon, Adcom, Parasound, B&K, M&K, Velodyne, NHT and tested this with all the different brand speakers I owned and impressed in consideration of the price. Highly recommended if you are building a system for under $1000.

Bottom Line: I had Yamaha HTR-5730 1 month and-my opinion-that's terrible!, I mean quality of sound. If you like harsh, distirted, unnatural sound-that's it.How Yamaha put sign-NATURAL SOUND? Would be good only for computer games and cheapest movies downloaded from Internet. This receiver comes with plastic small speakers and subwoofer, but I think even these speakers could sound better with another receiver.
