Summary:
Good receiver for the money and the simple home theater. I will be finding myself upgrading soon for Dolby Digital though.

Strengths:
Great all around receiver. Powers large speakers with ease, and performs DPL relatively well. Easy to use also. Inexpensive too!

Weaknesses:
Not super high current. Not high current at all, actually. Bass is not huge from the speakers, but I have a powered sub for that. No binding posts either. Oh yeah, not DD ready.

Denon AVR-2500, Onkyo TXDS575, Sony 935, etc.
