I picked up this AVR for my parents to match up with their Samsung Flat screen and BD player (the remote can control all 3)
Pro's: support all the current audio formats, Back panel is laid out very simple and roomey, Auto Calibration with mic. remote is half back lit and glow in the dark of most use buttons.

Con's: Time will tell, but I have heard plenty of stories
