Purchased the RSX-1057 based on comments from those that had listened to it. I had never purchased a reciever in this price range (this high). As far as audio performance, I am well pleased. I believe I would have probably had to pay twice as much to improve what I have - as far as value is concerned, I consider it an "excellent". The first thing I don't like is the remote. To change the inputs from (e.g) the television to the tuner requires a 5-7 second hold on the input selector button. (the directions say a couple of seconds). The other thing is that setup is definitely confusing. (I did get it set up). The last item is the on-screen display - I never did get that to work. Would I buy it again? my answer to this is a whole-hearted "probably".
