Price Paid:  $200.00 from lutz audio video

Summary:
i purchased this receiver 9 years ago at a small electronics shop, it produces 100 watts peak per channel, at 0.8 percent thd, i also picked up some 15' jl707 towers, and crs151 center and rear speakers all voice matched, each speaker handling 100 watts peak, this system sounds surprisingly good for it's price range and everything works just like it should, i love the 5.1 channel direct analog input, i believe that it sounds better/ than any digital form of input that i have ever heard, and this receiver is dd and dts ready.(with decoder)

Strengths:
multichannel input

Weaknesses:
quiet rear channels

Summary:
I picked this up in an online auction for under 100, was I surprised. This is a VR-207 with a different remote. Great for the price, drives my speakers very well and best of all let me use all the features of my DVD player. From my limited experience easily as good as recievers costing twice as much. Just look at the VR-207 review for more info. You can routinly get these for under 100 at www.webauction.com. Later
