Summary:
If you enjoy digital sound with your dvd's then you will love this reciever. Everything sounds good and it is backed up with some serious balls to it. Read the instructons at least 2 to 3 times--you will thank me later.

Strengths:
Amazing power supplied with many features for the ultimate home theater experience. Dolby digital is put to th max with this reciever. There are optical and S-video jacks for every electrion device you could have.

Weaknesses:
It took me a good day to learn how to use. After that life was a breeze.

Review 5 of 11

Price Paid:  $379.00 from UBID

Summary:
Great Unit once I got it all fired up.A few minor snags getting the dts to work.Totally smoking sound, the dts tracks on Gladiator were out of this world ! I had no problems with hiss, pops or hum, which I expected after reading some of the reviews on this forum. My problem is the remote is weak, works sporadically and won't work in RF at all. Jvc sent me a new one but NG it must be the unit. So now I have choice of returning it to UBID or sending it to JVC. PLEASE write if anyone has some advice.

Strengths:
It works great! powerful , great sound , multi room - multi source - multi amp is fantastic if you can make use of it.

Weaknesses:
for me set up was a little complicated , radio wave remote won't operate -quality control
