Summary:
I have this receiver for more than 10 years now and I do believe that I will keep it for another 10 years at least! Paid around 1000$ CAD back in the days. I was tempted by Kenwood or Pioneer receivers but the reason why I chose the JVC one, was for the set of speakers that came with it: a pair of 2x 8" woofer and 1 tweeter by speaker. The sound is clean and not too much bass. Ideal for any kind of music. For hip-hop, dance and other party music, you can switch the BASSBOOST on and it will kick in perfectly.
