Review NaN of , from Juneau, AK, USA

Price Paid:  $179.00 from Fred Meyer

Summary:
This is the worst reciever I have ever used. The power out put was okay but the surround channels had audible disrtion in them. The THD was .1%. I went to a Costco Teac after this and the diffence was night and day. Now I am running the Carver HTR 880. Much better then both but the JVC was a total piece of jnuk. Stay away!

Strengths:
Price

Weaknesses:
Cheap

Similar Products Used:
Kenwood, Teac, Carver

Review NaN of , from Hoboken, GA, United States

Price Paid:  $180.00 from REX

Summary:
I was in need a powerful reciever to run both presentations and movies. When in Pro Logic mode, the make my DVD's sound incredible. The sheer power of the amp allows it to easily power presentations for various functions. An excellent piece of audio equipment that I would recommend to anyone in need of a good reciever at a low price.

Strengths:
Obviously the Price/Performance Ratio! This reciever is 500 watts, Dolby Pro Logic, and under 200 dollars. Those is all the strengths it needs.

Weaknesses:
The remote could be a tiny be more functional.
