very low noise, good power

circuit board failure at 3 1/2 years old, poor speaker post bindings

In general I have liked this receiver. However just out of warranty a surround circuit board failed. If I had a surge protector on it originally I do not think this board would have blown. Now at 7 years old the surrounds come in and out. I suspect it is a problem with the binding posts but who knows.

In terms of performance I have been quite pleased with sound quality. Not quite as warm as my previous HK intergrated amp but nice with lots of power. Has always been up to movie sound tracks without clipping.
