Bottom Line: I was lucky enough to get this unit for $700.00. Great deal for a great product...at least for the first 6 months. Then the network card stopped working. It would get its IP, though couldn't access any network functions or could it be access via web interface. Upon further investigation and after talking with Denon, they said this is a known issue that could possibly be fixed with a firmware update. Unfortunately the firmware can't be updated if the receiver isn't communicating, so they said it needed to be sent in. I decided to shine it for the time being, though a month later I started to get more strange symptoms. The pre outs for the front speakers began cutting in and out. It would drop out until I changed the source, then it would magically start working...for a short period of time. At that point I've had enough. I read enough negative quirks regarding this unit to know it was time to sell this time bomb...I now own and Yamaha Aventage series... hope it lasts longer than the Denon.
