Summary: Bought used Denon AVR-600RD for less than 50$ and unit is in perfect condition. I use it only for music in stereo mode (Quadral floorstanding speakers QLX 175) and I'm disappointed with sound quality. The sound is a little too bright (usual for Denon) but it can't be corrected with Treble knob to provide fine result as for example with low end stereo receiver Denon DRA-335R. My opinion is if you want to listen to the music - avoid this A/V receiver. RDS tuner is very good but there aren't buttons for direct memorized station selection (5 x 8 memory for stations) and that's very bad

Summary: I bought my immaculate condition Denon AVR600 from a friend of mine with a tag price of $80. It really sound good and has a powerful 180 watts can really rock your living room for a cheap price, although it doesn’t have a digital but it’s a real REAL bargain for 80 dollars!
Strengths: 180 watts, Dolby Pro Logic receiver. A real deal bargain!
Weaknesses: No digital in, No 5.1 analog in.. Almost bear to the skin for a surround receiver.
