Price Paid:  $80.00 from from a friend

Summary:
I bought my immaculate condition Denon AVR600 from a friend of mine with a tag price of $80. It really sound good and has a powerful 180 watts can really rock your living room for a cheap price, although it doesn’t have a digital but it’s a real REAL bargain for 80 dollars!

Strengths:
180 watts, Dolby Pro Logic receiver. A real deal bargain!

Weaknesses:
No digital in, No 5.1 analog in.. Almost bear to the skin for a surround receiver.

Good start up system for anyone. Liked it so much that when I upgraded I stayed with Denon.

Strengths:
Very powerful. All of the stereo you need for a small house or appartment. Will rock you speakers.

Weaknesses:
It is not the latest in Audio Technology. Not Digital. Only weakness I've had.

Review NaN of , from Chicago

Summary:
I've had this unit for 3 years now. I bought it because I thought Denon made quality equipment ... This unit has permanently tarnished Denons reputation in my mind. Sure it has $3 binding post, but the headphone jack on my sound card drives my speakers with better sound. I wish I knew about good sounding systems when I purchased this unit. I don't know if my home theater experience will be that same without the distinctive hiss I hear when I adjust the volume.

Stay away from this for a price anywhere above the $3 posts.

Strengths:
none

Weaknesses:
Static when volume adjusted. Horrible sound.
