This unit is very easy to use and looks great next to other Adcom components. The improvement in sound quality by replacing my Denon AVR-3808CI receiver that I was using as a preamp for my Adcom GFA-7400 is immediate and very noticeable. Bass is stronger and overall sound is much cleaner. The Denon wasn't bad as a preamp, but this unit is worth the money, especially matched with other Adcom gear. The only thing that took some getting used to was the fact that the bass management system is bypassed when using stereo mode, so I just used one of the three speaker setting presets to turn off all other speakers except the two front towers for stereo and used the 5 channel stereo mode. WOW! What a difference that makes! Incredible unit and very satisfied. I am constantly changing my gear as I cannot pass up a good deal on quality audio (my crack I'm told:)). My Pinnacle CGT's are singing like never before (an incredible speaker for the money).
