This adcom preamo tuner is a wonderful sounding preamp. It excells in sound and performance. Very neutral....in fact this is the closest that i have encountered to the famed adcom gfp 750. The edge goes to the 750. But, compared to the other adcom preamps, this is the best i have encountered. If you are looking for a netral preamp with no hint of brightness, this is a good choice. On the used market....265.00 is not unheard of. I have at one time, owned all of the preamps that adcom has offered. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need or want info on any adcom product.....been in this hobby for fourty years. 370Z123@gmail.com

This preamp was a discovery for my trained ears. It's smooth, precise and defined sound surprised me from the first chords of Maller's 5th symphony. It did not fail me on Pat Metheny's "Works" or Erykah Badu's "Baduizm". I have been long time favorite of tube preamps including famous McIntosh C32 which I am currently selling due to outdated connectivity. There are better sounding preamps than Adcom I'm sure, but for the price you can not beat the quality of this wonderful sounding machine. Bravo to engineers @ Adcom. So strange that this company so unknown, better for us, music lovers who can enjoy our favorites for a few hundred dollars.
