I listened several times to this new product by Marantz and compared it to my main theater at home with my Anthem D2...The audio quality was brilliant and awesome to behold...at his this moderate price for a Processor and 8 channel Amplifier I had to bring it home for my other main room...
It doesn't have all the Bells and Whistles like my Anthem D2,..but audio quality is the same....with all the dynamics of much more expensive equipment thanks to an excellent signal to ratio ratio and extended frequency response...and the equipment is beautiful...now I have two great theaters with really great equipment worth every cent....
I really never paid alot of attention to Marantz in the past,..but now they have my full Attention....Now for a moderate price you can have absolutely professional sounding Home Theater in any room....but for Pete's sake do not use any Bose speakers in your theater or stereo...you'll just downgrade your equipment to last place....and insult your credibility... Strengths:
Great dynamics and micro-dynamics...quality sound that rivals much more expensive equipment...beautiful build....moderate price for professional sounding equipment...great signal to noise ratio.... Weaknesses:
