Summary:
A great upgrade to improve the C-800 sound when used with the C5.1 is to replace the factory DB-25 connector with a high quality cable. These are available for $125 + shipping for more info e mail me at Legends99@aol.com

Review 3 of 4

Summary:
In a follow up to my last posted review of the C-800. I finally got the service records on the repairs done on my equipment but only after contacting the Better Business Bureau. Other than the bad experience with Kinergetics Research's service I will say that overall you'd have a hard time finding equipment the sounds better. My most recent C-800 does function the way you'd expect it to. My only recommendation when buying new equipment is to make sure you don't have to ship it 2500 miles for repairs. The overall rating is for the C-800's performance over the last year only

Review 4 of 4

Summary:
The C-800 is the best pre/pro I have owned or heard. It is a bit forward, but not harsh or bright. The music reproduction is second to none. From classical to rock, this preamp shines in all types. The DB 25 connection allows the input of an external Dolby Digital/DTS decoder.

Marantz MA-9S2 Reference Series Power Amplifiers Review

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
