Summary:
Amplifier failed after 35 days of ownership. Guitar Center refused to take it back, after all, it was a full five days past their return period! Sent back to manufacturer for replacement on March 26th, 2009. Today is June 20th, I still have nothing despite REPEATED follow ups on my part. The worst amplifier and the WORST POSSIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, period. Do not buy this piece of trash.
If I could, I would buy anything else. Parasound, Crown, QSC, Adcom, even Behringer and Technical Pro make superior product. What was I thinking? Please listen to me and do your self a favor. Avoid this product and Alesis altogether, because If you buy their gear and it fails, they will take it back for repair and never return it!!!!!!

Summary:
Don't buy this amplifier! It will start crackle on both channels within a few months. The bad news is that no engineer is able to justify what the problem is. And - worst of all - Alesis will not respond to your e-mails. At least that's what happened to me.

Strengths:
Low priced for a very clean sound. As a class A-B amp it's quiet reliable and worths it's money - ( this is of course for as long as it doesn't crackle! ).

Weaknesses:
1) Crackles and finally cut outs in both channels!
2) No solution by electronic engineers can be tracked down
3) Alesis doesn't respond to costumer e-mails - at least not to mine and several others
