So if you''re suffering from the To Many Remotes Syndrome, this Sima universal remote is your miracle cure! Designed with ease-of-use in mind, it features your usual button interface, as well as a large Backlit LCD touch-sensitive display!

Summary:
Although I'm looking at newer remotes, the Sima SUR-25 is more than a decent remote controller. It does lack the newer Tivo and DVR commands but does have the ability to be programmed (as long as you have the original remote control and remember where you programmed it). Another issue I have is support. Where is Sima nowadays? Curiously enough, this remote almost indentically resembles the Crisp Solutions remote although theirs is sleeker and supports Tivo, etc.

Strengths:
The backlighting is adequate and you have the best of both worlds (hard buttons & touch-screen).

Weaknesses:
No preprogrammed or keys allocated for Tivo and/or DVR support.
