Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $80.00 from Circuit City

Summary:
Although I'm looking at newer remotes, the Sima SUR-25 is more than a decent remote controller. It does lack the newer Tivo and DVR commands but does have the ability to be programmed (as long as you have the original remote control and remember where you programmed it). Another issue I have is support. Where is Sima nowadays? Curiously enough, this remote almost indentically resembles the Crisp Solutions remote although theirs is sleeker and supports Tivo, etc.

Strengths:
The backlighting is adequate and you have the best of both worlds (hard buttons & touch-screen).

Weaknesses:
No preprogrammed or keys allocated for Tivo and/or DVR support.

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
