Bottom Line: This is a very low cost solid stackable component stand. It is definately mass produced in China but look great with my black equipment. I bought the unit for use to isolate and hold the system amplifiers of my Home Theatre system. I have better than 160 pound of amplifiers and power equipment stacked on mine. The looks are quite good as well as the damping. Each shelf stacks on the one below with hard metal points setting in metal cups. There is a choice of finish and wood insert color. Mine is black, silver and cherry wood as the picture above. The wood inserts are nicely padded with fixed rubber pads under each setting on the metal frames. The weld quality is very good but until there is some weight on it alignment of the points and cups can be tough. With amount of weight on mine this is not an issue. Condiering the price it's an excellent product.
