Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $200.00 from Boltz

Summary:
Boltz's products are made of solid steel, finsihed in black, clear, or metallic gray. I choose the metallic gray to match my LP rack. The utilitarian look may not be for everyone, but my wife and I really like it. As you would expect from steel construction, the rack is solid and fits together with little effort. It will hold cds, DVDs, and videos, even videos in the large cases. Each shelf has an adjustable divider to separate your collection and keep media upright on unfilled racks. This works OK I suppose, but, if assembling another unit, would leave off. While I like these products and will buy more of them, probably the CD-600, they are more expensive than your average rack. Of course, they are better than your average rack, so for me, it's a winner.

Strengths:
Sturdy, good-looking, stores cds, videos, DVDs in style.

Weaknesses:
adjustable divider slides on each shelf aren't very useful.

Similar Products Used:
particle-board bookcase; wood cd rack

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $130.00 from direct from Boltz

Summary:
Once I move my cds into it, I'll definitely buy the expansion kit that doubles the size for $80ish. Their stuff is so good we are buying $3k of shelving from them for book and media storage at our office.

Strengths:
Great look and build for the cost. All steel, with nickel plated finished bolts.

Weaknesses:
The slides to support media on unfilled shelves do a less that stellar job.

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
