Summary:
To begin with, I realize that some folks on this forum throw around 5-star ratings like confetti, but I really want to emphasize that I believe tath this is the BEST product of its kind that I've ever used. I really MEAN it when I give it 5 stars. I bought it because my turntable was getting beaten up by all of the vibrations from my hardward floor that were *amplified* by my Sears consumer-grade audio rack. I shopped around and was thinking about a Salamander Synergy rack because of the more "funiture-like, spouse-approval quotient, but the Synergy is no where near as sturdy as the Billy Bags. As it turns out, my spouse actually preferred the Baby BB. This thing is absolutely rock-solid and my turntable can now do its job. I noticed improvements all around; imaging is sharper, and there is an increaded dynamic range; bass is more defined. One word of caution: This is the smallest in the line of Billy Bags racks, so it is suitable only for "standard" sized components (i.e., those measuring 17 1/2 inches wide by 13 inches deep). If you are thinking about most tube amps, then you'll need to look into their larger lines of racks. BTW, the shipping is on the expensive side--about $100, but it's worth it! Mine arrived in a very sturdy shipping package with an integrated pallet! Overall, I really believe that this is the best rack on the market; if you're into vinyl, this is must.

Strengths:
Solidity; simple, functional design and appearence

Weaknesses:
This particular model suitable only for standard-sized components.

Similar Products Used:
Salamander Synergy; Sears Stereo rack (garbage).

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
