This shelf is built like a tank...i went around the stores and tested the stableness of all of them. This won hands down...BUT must be placed on an absolutely flat surface in the first place. Looks great, easy to assemble, pain in the butt to clean all that glass though! But if you bought it for looks, you will keep it clean AND LIKE IT! ;) Strengths:
VERY sturdy. Powder-coated finish, so very strong and impervious to little dings and such. Design is gorgeous. Cable management system hides cables very well! Weaknesses:
Cable management system could use about 1 inch more in depth...I have Z1 rated Monster Cable and 3 components besides receiver so it doesn't leave alot of room in side the system for play...but once again, my wire at times is at least 5/8-inch thick and there are 3 of those and about (4) 1/4-inch wires too...plus a few more smaller ones. Only other weakeness is the price..these are not cheap..American's price was $900...i got em down to $650 and bought it on the spot. Not sure they will do it for everyone. I gave it 2 stars for a value rating, simply because $900 is a lot for a stand. But, for $650, it is pretty good.
