Review 2 of 3 Summary: I put it together in NO time;very easy to set up but also very heavy ( STABILITY). If you like modern audio furniture this is the way to go. It is completly out the ordinary; all the others out there are the same: components stacked on shelves:BORING! I was able to install my SONY 300 cd changer, 19 inches deep and 7and 1/2 inches tall despite fixed shelves. I consider the italians are hard to beat when it comes to style ( cars, fashion, etc). If do not want to be like John Doe or Mr. Jones Nextdoor who are Best Buy and Circuit City "audiophiles " look for an AVS 1000. You are not going to be sorry. Even if you have a rear projection TV, you can use the top shelf ( intended for a TV up to 36 inches) for TWO regular components ( is 38 inches wide). Also EXCELLENT wire management system. Noboby is going to to see your "esoteric" connections and even your thick speaker wire will be out of sight. I did not see one before I order it because nobody in my area has them in stock and is product from july 1999. Shop around for price J@R, SounCity, etc. Visit also belloggetti.com. Mine was $540 deliverd to my door; not bad, but still not realy the best value bconsidering I just read a few minutes ago on this web site people buying a Sony receiver STR DB930 A BEST BUY and getting excellent reviews for $ 400-425-440 etc. However, all the audio furniture is OVERPRICED, so what can you do...you have to install your $ 400 receiver in some kind of shelf... Strengths: beautiful, great EURO style Weaknesses: maybe price Similar Products Used: several of different kinds
