I have had this stand for aabout a year and half now. It holds my modest A/V system and is a perfect size for my small condominium. The stand is very sturdy and the curved wood side panels provide a very uniuque yet elegant style. The wood panels are solid and extremely heavy and the glass shelves sit on very rigid metal beams. It's open front and highly spaced shelf provide a lot of room for ventilation. Accessing cable and connections can be tricky however; still, probably much easier than with most standst. This stand has been discontinued by BDI so if you see any furniture retailer offering it at a discounted price I say go for it. Something tells me the curved panels must be very expensive to produce.
