Summary:
When I went from a shelf to this rack, it was incredible. Though a nightmare during assembly (couldn't get all the pole sections to fit in all the shelf indents at the same time) once it was together it is one stout piece of rack.

The finish is gorgeous (although the anigre finish does seem to be a "love it or hate it" finish), and blends well with my other audio furniture and my rosewood speaker cabinets.

This stand is a little bit more expensive than some other equally excellent stands, but if you want something that breaks away from the standard "ash black", you should consider this rack.

Strengths:
Rock solid construction, beautiful finish, spikes

Weaknesses:
Difficult to assemble
