Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $0.00 from amazon.com

Summary:
This unit is a piece of junk. Don't buy one! It skips brand new karaoke cds on a regular basis. I used it professionally in a club as my karaoke player and all it did was embarrass me. It is still under warranty and pioneer fixes it, but it's never fixed. piece of junk!

Strengths:
none! piece of junk.

Weaknesses:
Won't play cds correctly.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $500.00 from half.com

Summary:
The sound quality was good. The picture was good. But overall it was awful. Toward the end of the first year it began to not play songs requested. Some disks it wouldn't play at all. So I got Pioneer to fix it. Then, one year later it locked up completely. The disk drive did not work at all.

Strengths:
Great effects, only machine of it's type at the time I bought it.

Weaknesses:
It's a crappy peice of equipment. For the amount of money I spent I would have expected higher quality.

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
