Summary:
This piece of equipment is a must for audio and video equipment.

I purchased one for my A/V setup and it made such a difference I went out and purchased a PM8DBS-EX model for my Stereo System - which I am about to upgrade to the MX4300 EX.

The unit filters out all noise on the power lines to the equipment and allows everything to work as designed.

Effects Noticed:
- all RF noise on the TV was eliminated
- all TV stations became much clearer- I'm on antenna as well
- bass tightened up and became more detailed
- sound stage improved

Strengths:
It works extremely well
Looks like a hi-fi component
you can turn off selected outputs from the front of the panel
separate power outlet on the front
If a surge trips the power supply it can be reset by pressing a button - unlike some other makes
protects about every component - phone, cable/antenna, power - the new model even does network
