Summary:
This power supply improves on the stock MSB Link DAC power supply. The MPS can power 2 devices (the other being for example an AA DTI Pro) with the proviso that the devices have the Audio Alchemy style pin connectors. Since I did have a DTI Pro already, I was able to upgrade 2 power supplies with the purchase of the MPS. I'm not sure how the MPS compares with the AA Power Station 2,3, or 4. The MPS finesses more refinement from the MSB Link Dac. Everything has more clarity, apparently without losing dynamics. Seemed to me an unqualified upgrade, not one of those of typical trade-offs so common with hi-end components. I also felt that music was a bit more relaxed as well as more detailed, a nice double improvement. After spending so little on the MSB, it is not difficult to spend that amount again for what I consider an unqualified upgrade.
