Summary:
Michell makes two kinds of tenderfeet, tall and small (or something like that). I got the small ones, which are a half-inch tall, so they're best for turntables in enclosed spaces, as mine is. I have a Thorens TD-280 MK-IV, an OK table but one which is especially prone to vibration, especially from a wood floor, especially when you have a 2-year old who likes to dance!! Put the Tenderfeet under the legs and the 2-year old can do cartwheels and jump up and down right in front of the stereo and there's not the slightest wobble, when before a slight misstep could make the needle skip. Worth every penny. One caveat: the Small Tenderfeet aren't available with screw mounts as the Tall ones are. If you get feet without mounts, they can be hard to get under the turntable without slipping out. Try using double sided tape on the broad surface of the Tenderfeet.
