I have been a regular visitor to this site and have followed the reviews on some really good products. I bought a Bang and Olufsen eventually after visiting their authorised dealership and have no regrets. The Beosound 4000 (sold as Beosound Ouverture in Europe) is an amazing example of both form and function. It sits mounted on my wall and provides a single CD player with 101DB SNR, a single cassette player and AM/FM AND does a fantastic job.
The Beolab 6000 speakers are active speakers, with separate amplifier modules for the woofers and tweeter, with a net volume of just 3 litres and sound fantastic. They image very well with sound I can listen to for hours. They has a frequency response of 55-20000. I have added a Velodyne HGS-10 to extend my bass all the way down to 20HZ. More on the HGS-10 later..

Overall I am very happy with my system. B&O also provides a package by which I can get pre-amp outputs. Maybe when I have the money and a large enough listening room, I might buy a Llano Design A-200 with Gallo Nucleus Reference.. but for now I am thrilled and would heartily recommend visitors to this site to check this one out.

B&O believes in form and function above all else, including price, but then what a great offering!!
