Great receiver. I bought it as a display model just as the newer ones were coming out. Very powerful stereo mode (120x2), and powerful surround (100x5), also has a seperate (non-powered) subwoofer connection. Discrete 6-channel inputs allow you to upgrade to DD or DTS with a proper decoder. Receiver sounds great, I've had absolutely no problems with it.

I'm really impressed with this reciever. Since the 710 wasn't available in my area I decided to go the 810, and I'm glad I did this thing has everything and does everything. You can make adjustments to make it the way you like it. It got plenty of power to spare so you can hook up all the speakers you want, and it's also dolby digital ready. It is a bit expensive at about $400, but if you want the best it's a small price to pay.
