Strength:

mutliple ports and easy controlling of it's options

Weakness:

sounds bad almost all around

I am seriously disappointed with this product. I used a cheapy Sony stereo receiver with my JBL N38's and that sounded better. First off there is no bass boost, a must for hip hop fans. Also the sounds is lacking all around. There are great controls for the surround, front, sub, and center speakers and they are certainly needed. Unless you turn the surrounds up to +10 and the fronts to +2 you can hear nothing but the center speaker in music and movies(what a pain!) I realize that most sounds comes from the center but it isn't supposed to be all of it. Now that i have said all the negative there is some good to it. Numerous ports make for a great setup. I have three game consoles, DVD, VCR, digital cable, 5 disc changer, and cassette deck and most of them run from the same remote than came stock with the reciever and all of them fit in the back with no Y-plugs. It doesn't get hot even in it's glass case so I don't worry about it discoloring, or worse, melting. And for what I paid for it i guess I am satisfied
