Strength:

Great power! Easy setup. Ipod is a bonus and is really pretty cool. On screen set-up with microphone is fabulous and a breeze.

Weakness:

No Phono input, will need a pre-amp. Maybe one more HDMI input would have been nice. Remote is so-so but I have an MX-500

OMG I am hearing things that I never heard before from my speakers, which are no slouches. After hooking up all of the components and cables I am really amazed at what a great 5.1 unit this is. There is at least 20% more power in this unit than any other comporably priced unit. I upgraded from a top notch unit by JVC which had 100 Watts and I thought that was pretty cool. Forget that, having more power is incredible what it can bring to the sound stage. Its also crystal clear.

If 5.1 is your bag then this should be on the top of your wish list immediately. I am not sure that I want to bother with 6.1, or 7.1 too many speakers all over the place. They are wife husband beaters. I'll wait till my next house and then go in walls and consider it later. For now I am extremely happy and probabally going to buy another unit for the bedroom!
