This is a smoking system. Running it on the Definitive tec. 7002 with mid range. I can be 50 yards away and it still carries around corners and is still clear as day. Got it at Best Buy. Will not even entertain any other stereo except Harmon-Kardon. Need a bigger house now.........

I have owned two Pioneer Elite receivers now and have been happy with both. I also in between the two Pioneers tried an OutlawAudio prepro and had a B&K amp and B&K receiver all sounded good but I wanted hdmi hookup capability so I went with the vsx23 and new sound codecs and in that capacity this is the best of them all even the B&K. I was worried about power output after having the B&K but the Pioneer has plenty.
