i think this is the best sytem out there hands down. i know a lot about sound systems and i know that aiwa is one of the best. i have had mine for a year and had no problems, no cd's have skipped and nothing is broken. i am starting to regret buying an extra 5 years warranty. i also know other people who have a an aiwa system for years and nothing has gone wrong. if there is something wrong with your system i suggest taking it back. and if you cant even spell aiwa you dont know what your talking about (like some people in here)

i say by it, it is worth the $199.99 well that is all ican tell you peace but i only had it for 3 day.

if you are looking into an aiawa... DONT!!! i thought that they have changed there products, but obviously not... they are still junk. i knew i should have wenht with the panasonic!

well i posted a response a couple days say how it was an OK system, not anymore, i am taking it back, the cd's started skipping last night, and then they wouldn't play, and now one of the cassette decks will not open, keep in mind i have had this sytem 4 or 5 days!

Summary:
i bought this mini system 2 days ago at best buy, it seems really nice so far... but my mothers aiwa did also 3 years ago, and then a demon seed took it over, so she got rid of hers, i was worried about buying and aiwa, because i have had a few past expiriences with aiwa and they have not been to good, but i really liked this system, it has enough power and is just the right size, also i paid $49.99 for a service plan for mine, which i think is well worth it, it is good for 4 years, and it includes cleaning of the system and everything, and also includes a "NO LEMON POLICY" so i went and bought it , by the ways i paid $299.99 for it at the best buy store

i like the strong amount of bass!

build quality (overall pretty good, but the knobs feel kinda cheap)
aiwa name is known for making pieces of junk
