from Local Dealer Summary: Even though I am an audiophile, I am primarily a musician. As such, I will say that I know what live music sounds like. I was looking to replace my JPS Labs Aluminata Reference since I was never completely satisfied with them. I always felt they were little harsh in the lower treble range. This tended to become tiring after an hour or so of listening. I had seen a lot of good comments about LAT International on the internet, so I went on their web site. The LAT web site seemed down to earth (no hype); and what they say about cables in general made sense to me; also, the description of the Signature IC-300 impressed to me enough to try it.
Try it I did and wow! Was I impressed. I had not heard such realism, speed, and transparency, with my JPS Aluminata or any other cables I have heard; and I have auditioned quite a few. The realism approached live music as closely as I have heard in my system and in the systems of my friends. We play and listen to a lot of live music.
They have superb image accuracy, and neutrality. They are fluid and liquid smooth. A good investment and at very low price if you compare the price to the mega priced interconnects; some of which I know of from listening experience. Though, I don’t know of any that surpass the IC-300 Signature. This includes the JPS Aluminata Reference which is very expensive if you buy them new.
Strengths: Pin point image accuracy
Expansive and deep sound stage
Sounds/feels like sitting in row 12 in a concert hall
Also, like “sitting in” at a recording studio
Fast
A complete cable
Weaknesses: Too inxpensive. Price may discourage some High Enders from buying/trying it. Similar Products Used: Wireworld Eclipse 5, JPS labs Super Conductor, Harmonic Technology Magic I,
Transparent Ultra Music Link and an Acoustic Zen; don't remember the model name, cost about $1300.00
