Review 1 of 49

Price Paid:  $200.00 from ebay

Summary:
Having used this cable with a variety of integrated amps; both SS and Tubed, I can attest to it's positive sonic qualities: there is a feeling that no part of the sonic spectrum really stands out, as the balance is quite even. The Truth links remind me somewhat of my Cardas twinlinks in that there is a smoothness, richness, and warmth present, although the Truths are a fair bit more resolved, to the point that puts them in a higher legue.
All this may something to do with the fact that my T.Links where custom made with Eichmen Bullet plugs, so that may change the sound ever so slightly from the stock Furtech connectors. The overall build quality is high, and one gets the impression that you'd have to pay a substancial amouth more to achieve better build/ sonics.
Strangely enough, I found it very difficult to find a pair of these on the used market: it's as if people are quite reluctant to sell these cables; the fact is, that there are thousands out there......... You see many pro silways out there for sale, but very few Truth Links. Could it be that the Truth Links have reached cult status?
To summerize - I'm quite happy with the Truth Links, as they don't seem to editorialize the music much, and remain fairly neutral. Good stuff man!

Strengths:
Overal build, and sonic qualities. Nothing beats the burnished glow of copper!

Weaknesses:
None really; the price is quite reasonable, even at the retail level

Similar Products Used:
various AudioQuest rubbish, a few Cardas cables (which are good)

This cable doens't work in my system. When I played acoustic guitar music, they all sounded the same! I will keep it for matching to taste.

some lost of dynamics and not very transparent

Price Paid:  $400.00 from Sun Audio

Summary:
Great for money. Gives even, great balanced sound with warm, a bit roundy bass and huge number of details. Neutral midrange, not too bright in highs. Very good copper interconnect, friendly termination.

Strengths:
Does not change too much in the sound, neutral, transparent, great bass and high frequences, natural vocals

Weaknesses:
a bit stiff

none.

Review 5 of 49

Price Paid:  $0.00 from fatwyre.com

Summary:
Lots of detail. Much more detail than with Cardas Golden Cross. Smooth, yes, but treble gains neutrality with use.

Strengths:
Detail

Weaknesses:
Locking rcas are pain in the... ear. Don't tighten them. 0.6-0.75 m length would have been nice.

Similar Products Used:
Van den Hul The First, Straight Wire Encore II, Cardas Golden Cross.
