Price Paid: $0.00 Summary This review is basically on samsung as a company as well as their line of dlp tv's.Strength I own a 46" DLP hdtv made by Samsung. Which i had for 2 years. Which is a great tv, sound is great, features are also very good and the picture is amazing until it dies.Weakness The problem is that after nearly a year of ownership this tv's color wheel was shot which a replacement part cost-450.00 dollars. then a year later the lamp went another 150.00 dollars and that's parts only, not even mentioning the service costs. Aside from that the tv cost me 2500.00 dollars and lasted less then two years? i would strongly discourage you from buying samsung as my friends sony still running strong after 3 years of use with no problems. And on top of a really badly constructed product the only thing that was nice about samsungs customer service was how politely they told you that your just s--t out of luck. Another company that's "that will be 2500.00 sir, after you take this product home your on your own." what happened to caring about the customer.DONT BUY SAMSUNG, get a sony at least it will last.
