Price Paid: $1400.00 from Circuit City Summary I love this tv. Has a great picture with regular cable and looks extra great on hd tv stations.We sit 11 feet away from set it looks great . The concrast and the rich color looks the best. I've always liked sonys for the rich deep blue and other colors. Price Paid: $1696.00 from A&B Sound Summary While shopping for an HDTV display, I was looking at other displays by Toshiba, JVC, and Panasonic that were last year's models and on sale 50 to 52 widescreen models. I kept on comparing the image quality of the other tv's to the Sony and the Sony really stood out, especially watching analog cable. The picture quality was great. The difference when looking at an hdtv was less obvious. It has many inputs available. Easy to setup. The only drawback that made me hesitant when purchasing this display was the sets 720p native resolution. 1080i would have been preferable, but 1080p would have been great, but at the sets price point it would have been unrealistic at this time. The remote is okay, but not my favourite kind of layout. This replaces my main display, a 34widescreen toshiba. and weighs about 1/3 the weight. ;) Price shown is Canadian $'s. Strength Good analog picture when watching analog cable. 2 Hdmi inputs, 2 Component video inputs. OSD info displays the source signal as 480i, 480p, 720p or 1080i - it is nice to know...Weakness Native resolution is only 720p. Would you like to Comment?
